Service Learning Reflection.

In my opinion, the purpose of going to Delta Senior School was to interact with the students there. I had no idea how they wold be like as it was my first time there. At first, i thought they were a bunch of autistic students. When we arrived at the Delta Senior School, we saw the students there and it really changed how i viewed them. They are more similar to us than they are different and for that reason, i looked forward to playing with them. 

In this service learning, we played soccer, floorball and basketball with them. We only taught them the fundamentals of how to play the respective games but that did not stop them from playing the best they could. We watched them play the different sports and their determination was clearly seen while they were playing. This was one of their strong points and i think that anyone can learn from their actions. 

In future, I would like to participate in activities involving people like those from the Delta Senior School. I think we can learn one or two new things from these people. Even though we did teach them how to play the respective games, they taught us to be determined, focused and to persevere.
